Sydney 2008 9 Week Meditation and "Transforming the Poison into Medicine" Dharma Teachings/Course to deepen our practice and joy in the Dharma. Find out more about Tibetan Buddhism and the gems of your own mind. Starts 7:30pm Thursday 16th October and runs for 9 weeks Buddhist Library, 90 Church St, Camperdown Cost: $13/$10 (We prefer you pay the whole course upfront) "Compassion, Healing and Luminous Mind" A Weekend Meditation Retreat at Wat Buddha Dharma 7pm 24th October to 26th October Wat Buddha Dharma is near Windsor, it offers beautiful but basic bush accommodation. Cost: $170/$155 "Sandwich with the Sangha" A day of mindfulness, teachings and picnics, to share, celebrate and have a dialogue about the future of Buddhism, particularly monasticism, to offer traditional generosity, talk of minfulness, enjoy a free talk and stalls etc, we will also try to have kids face painting, stories etc. This beautiful location has views of the harbour and a park. 10am - 2.30 pm Sunday 16th November Woolich Scout Hall, Woolich Rd, Woolich Bring: a kite, some food/traditional offerings/dana and a picnic and a mind for peace and fun! |
